MADE IN SAN FRANCISCO A VIEW OF A CHANGING WORLD

Building Supraway
in San Francisco.

AI is changing how we work,
how we live, and how we relate
to one another.

Being here means building close to that change — and taking time to ask what it means for people everywhere.

The human question

01 / OBSERVING THE PRESENT

A view from the street.

RingRing’s photographic notebook captures the signs of an industry taking shape. A record of the present, while its future is still being written.

02 / THE HUMAN QUESTION

What kind of progress
do we want
to build?

A more capable technology does not, by itself, create a fairer society.

AI brings possibilities for learning, discovery and less repetitive work. It also raises questions about livelihoods, access and who gets to make decisions. Its effects will differ across countries, communities and generations.

San Francisco is one vantage point. The conversation belongs just as much to employees, students, customers and citizens around the world. Their hopes, uncertainty and lived experience should help shape what comes next.

This perspective draws on RingRing’s manifesto: make room to listen, preserve the questions people are asking today, and return to them as the world changes.

03 / WHAT THAT MEANS FOR US

Build with people in mind.

Our experience in customer operations gives these questions a practical starting point. These are principles to guide Supraway’s development.

01

Keep people able to act.

When an agent handles a customer’s request, people need a way to understand the outcome, challenge a mistake and reach someone who can help.

02

Respect the work behind the workflow.

A procedure contains someone’s experience. Building useful agents means involving the teams who know the work and considering how their roles will change.

03

Look beyond speed.

Time saved matters. So do the quality of an answer, the dignity of an interaction and whether a customer’s problem was actually resolved.

04

Leave room to reconsider.

Make assumptions visible, acknowledge limits and learn from feedback. Responsible development requires decisions we can revisit as experience grows.

A CONVERSATION WORTH KEEPING OPEN

“What do you hope AI will give us?
What should it never take away?”
